Ravi Mani is the Program Manager – Knowledge Hub at ILP since September 2012. He is involved in enhancing capacity building of knowledge and skills of the ILP’s NGO partners on the latest areas related to children’s development (especially on Education, Child Rights, Child Protection etc). He is also a Trustee of ILP-India Board of Trustees from 2004. Ravi Mani has 25 years of experience in development work.

Ravi Mani was the Assistant Programme Coordinator at Terre des Hommes Germany India Programmes in the South India Office (www.childrensrightsofindia.org) from 2003 to 2012 where he was involved in performing Pre-Funding Assessments (PFA), Interim and Final Evaluations of projects in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. He played a key role in providing planning, monitoring and evaluation support to several NGOs in developing the projects and implementing. His tasks also included liaison with work on Campaign Against Child Labour (CACL) and Campaign Against Child Trafficking (CACT) with pioneer institutions & movements across India. anning grassroots action to top-level NGO coordination.

Some more of his numerous accomplishments and roles include: Serving as an Honorary Treasurer of the NGO Rejuvinate Indai Movement (RIM) from August 2005 until 2012, the Coordinator for Karnataka State in the NGO - Gandhi Peace Centre for 5 years. While at the Gandhi Peace Center, Ravi organized and participated in the development management course covering many subjects of Social Sciences (Economics, Sociology, Political Science) and skills (Finance management, Accountancy & Computers) for partners and colleagues. 

Ravi has also worked as a part time National Coordinator for ILP. He played a key role in providing planning, monitoring and evaluation support to several NGOs in developing the projects and implementing them. Ravi also worked with MAYA - Movement for Alternative Youth Movement Bangalore for 5 years as programme coordinator for rehabilitating the street and working children.

Ravi has a Masters in Business Administration in the field of Human Resources.
