Support our village health centers during COVID Wave 2

ILP works in over 5000 villages across 7 states. As we are working to educate children, we need to support the basic health needs of these villages during the COVID wave. In rural Indian villages, the Primary Health Centres(PHC) are the first point of contact for suspected Covid Patients. These centers are in need of essential supplies owing to the increase in daily caseloads. The staff working in the  PHCs need protective gear and essential medicines for patients.  A PHC covers a population of 20,000 in the tribal area and 30,000 in general areas (depending upon the geographical location).

ILP reached out to the PHC in our working areas shown below and collected the needs from the various medical officers. There is overwhelming demand for basic medicines (like Paracetamol), Oximeter , Blood Pressure instruments, PPE equipment and more.
