The history of International Literacy Day dates back to 8 September 1967, whenย UNESCOย established the day to promote literacy on a global level.
The idea behind celebrating this day was to make quality education accessible to everyone irrespective of gender, caste, sex, and age.

๐๐๐ง ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ย – Develop broad skills in ICT so that students are comfortable using computers and learn new tools through self-learning modules.
๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ย – To develop scientific temper among children.
๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ & ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด –ย A comprehensive career program for high school and higher secondary students to give them the required inputs to make informed career decisions.
๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ด๐น๐ถ๐๐ต – Enable teachers and students to converse in simple, functional English with ease and fluency.
All these programs are backed by community engagement and support for a sustained impact.
