On January 24th,ย India Literacy Projectย inaugurated an Early Childhood Education program in Dindigul District, supported by the ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ป๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐๐ฟ. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (https://ramanujams.org/), and ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ต๐ถ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ง๐ฟ๐๐๐ย (https://gandhigram.org/).
The collaborative effort aims to enhance the role of government Anganwadis in childhood education through a pilot project. Tmt. C. Poongadi, the District Programme Officer for *๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ (๐๐๐๐ฆ), officially launched the initiative, emphasizing a commitment to transform government school centers into vibrant hubs of early childhood education.
Notable participants included Mr. M Baskaran, District Panchayat Chairman, Block Development Officers, Community Development Program officers for Athur and Palani, Panchayat Union Councillors, and Panchayat Presidents.
The project ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, 10 each in Athoor and Palani blocks, with plans for future scaling based on progress.
