In a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of Anganwadi workers, India Literacy Project and it’s partner NGO, UAC jointly organized a three-day refresher training program on “Pre-school Development.”
The refresher training program focused on multi-child development activities and the preparation of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM).
This strategic emphasis aimed to equip Anganwadi workers with updated skills and knowledge crucial for their role in nurturing the holistic development of children, particularly in the tribal belt of Keonjhar.
By organizing such refresher training programs, UAC and ILP aim to strengthen the foundation of early childhood education, particularly in underserved areas.
The event, held in Telkoi, witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed guests Mrs. Amita Panda, CDPO (Child Development Project Officer) of Telkoi, and Mr. Managobinda Sahoo, Principal of Charigarh Mahavidyalaya, who served as the Inaugurator and Guest of Honour, respectively, in the inaugural session.
This training session was also widely covered in the local media.
